形態特徵

Suffruticose plants, to 100 cm tall, covered with stellate hairs; stems square, angles obtuse, stellate pubescent.
Leaves petiolate; petioles 5–30 mm long, stellate-pubescent; blades 4–10 cm long, 1–5 cm wide, elliptic to broadly elliptic, base obtuse, apex acute, margins serrate, both surfaces stellate-pubescent, densely so on veinlets beneath.
Inflorescences of axillary umbel-like cymes; leafy bracts elliptic, apex acute, upper surface glabrous or sparsely stellate pubescent, lower surface stellate pubescent. Flowers pedicellate; pedicel to 0.3 cm long, stellate pubescent; calyx 0.8–1 cm long, campanulate, stellate-hairy, 5-toothed, teeth nearly equal, narrowly triangular, acuminate, 5–8 mm long.
Chromosome number 2n = 34.
